Welcome to the Northern Powergrid website. This website is owned and operated by Northern Powergrid Funding Company. Provided here are the terms and conditions that govern your use of our website. The names of our licensed distribution companies are changing from Northern Electric Distribution Limited (NEDL) and Yorkshire Electricity Distribution plc (YEDL) to Northern Powergrid (Northeast) Limited and Northern Powergrid (Yorkshire) plc respectively. When reporting to Ofgem on licence-holder detail we will be using these new names from 1 November. When reporting to Ofgem on a group basis we will be using the name Northern Powergrid from that date.

Changing the terms and conditions/operation of the website



We can accept payment for services we provide to you by credit and debit card.  If you are paying through this website we will deduct payment once you successfully enter the information into our secure payment gateway.


If  we are unable to take payment for services we provide to you by credit or debit card we will notify you and you will have to enter alternative credit or debit card information on to our website or make payment by cheque.  We will not perform any services for you until we receive payment in full and cleared funds.  All services paid for using this website are subject to the terms and conditions sent to you with our quotation for those services.

Sage Pay
